Job Description

Wire Operator

Shift: 1st, (6am-2pm)

Pay: $17-$18.50/hr (Based on Experience)

Job Description:
  • Cuts and marks wire per drawing and program specifications with the appropriate equipment
  • Maintains a high level of quality and productivity in all wire marking and cutting operations.
  • Demonstrates proper use of wire processing machines.  
  • Interpret schematics and wire cut lists
  • Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence and lettering/numbering
  • Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the processing of wire and cable
  • Ensures tools are clean, maintained, and calibrated
