Job Description
Welders- MIG & TIG
Shift: 1st, (7am-3pm)
Pay: $22/hr. (Based on experience)
We are seeking experienced MIG and/or TIG Welder Fabricators. This is not production welding. This role requires strong fabrication skills, blueprint interpretation, layout, and problem-solving abilities. Candidates must be able to independently take a job from drawings through final fabrication and finishing.
Job Description:
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Lay out and fabricate miscellaneous steel products including:
- Railings, stairs, fences, gates, window guards, columns
- Cut, punch, and drill material as required
- MIG weld steel (16 gauge to ½” thick)
- TIG weld brass, aluminum, and stainless steel (preferred)
- Grind materials to high finish standards
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly)
- Complete work under a piece-rate pay system
Required Qualifications:
- Prior MIG and/or TIG welding experience
- Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, basic algebra)
- Ability to read a tape measure to 16ths of an inch
- Blueprint reading ability
