Job Description

2nd Shift Warehouse Operator Opportunity - this position is in the Milwaukee Area and near a bus line - it also requires relevant work history and a resume & interview prior to starting to qualify.

2:30pm-10:30pm - Monday-Friday
$18-19/hr Based on Experience


Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Verify part number, order number, and quantity on picking documents.
  • Operator is responsible for locating, stocking, and consolidating materials in proper warehouse locations in an accurate, organized, and safe manner.
  • Preparing documentation for receiving and movements of material to insure  accurate and timely maintenance of perpetual inventory and open order computer files.
  • Performing computer transactions to update perpetual and open order computer files as required.
  • Complete work output at required levels to approved standards.
  • Responsible for picking, packing, and shipping customer orders as may become necessary.
  • Responsible for picking, preparing and delivering kitted jobs to production as may become necessary. 
  • Follow direction of coordinator and according to posted procedures and schedules.
  • Operate and maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company standards.
  • Responsible for moving and transporting skids, cartons, and drums of materials using hand or powered material-moving equipment.
  • Lifting, pulling, and pushing of material will be required often.
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned.
 
Qualifications & Skills Required
  • High School/GED or experience.
  • Power truck experience required
  • Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines.
  • Work in a group environment and the ability to perform as a team player.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external  customers.
  • Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude.
