Warehouse - Material Handling or Crate Shop (Bilingual) - 1st shift

Warehouse Associate
Shift: 1st, (6:30 AM- 2:30PM)
Pay: $17/hr.
This position plays a key role in ensuring materials are safely handled, packaged, and prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to assist wherever needed and is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Job Description:
- Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Build and assemble shipping crates using tape measures, saws, nail guns, and other hand tools.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (approximately 20% of the role; forklift training provided).
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and damage.
- Perform basic data entry and simple math while working at packing stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sorting pallets and crates in the outdoor yard
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Must be able to read English, as all work orders are written in English.
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or crate shop experience preferred.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to perform simple data entry and basic math.
