Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $20/hour
Our client is looking to add a shipping and receiving warehouse Assistant. This person will be assisting the office Manager/supervisor to perform the daily tasks. This person will be handling the day-to-day operation of Warehouse like processing the daily orders, preparing, scanning, and labelling the orders as instructed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse.
- Delegate duties as necessary to the production team.
- Process, prepare and label the daily orders as instructed.
- Perform light office administrative duties under the supervision of the manager.
- Managing and counting inventory.
- Ability to Identify and dispose defective items before they are shipped to customers.
- Maintains stock lists and order office supplies as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Warehouse supervisor’s assistant experience is a plus.
- At least 2years college degree preferred.
- Able to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training.
- Must have experience in order processing like Creating Bill of Landing, Packing List, ASN.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse setup.
- Basic oral and writing skills.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack or forklift experience is a plus.
- Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
