Job Description
Material Handler / Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: West Milwaukee
Pay: $18–$22/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday, 3:30pm-12am

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our 1st shift team. This role is essential to keeping our production and shipping operations running smoothly by efficiently moving, staging, and tracking materials throughout the facility. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing environments and are comfortable operating stand-up forklifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Move raw materials and finished products to appropriate work areas in preparation for production or shipping
- Coordinate and stage materials in a timely and safe manner to support production goals
- Read blueprints to determine required materials and project timelines
- Assist with inventory management, material tracking, and stock movement
- Operate stand-up forklifts and material handling equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with production, shipping, and inventory teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with company safety protocols
- Perform other cross-functional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Preferred experience as a Material Handler and/or with stand-up forklift operation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow material preparation instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple roles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with strong communication and a drive to succeed
- Must be safety-minded, punctual, and reliable
