Join Our Team as a Preproduction Assembler!
Are you detail-oriented and skilled with your hands? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where precision and efficiency are paramount? If so, we want YOU to join our team as a Preproduction Assembler!
Position: Preproduction Assembler
Shifts Available: 7 AM - 3:30 PM and 12:30 PM - 9 PM
Shifts Available: 7 AM - 3:30 PM and 12:30 PM - 9 PM
What You'll Do:
- Assemble Production Kits: Follow the Bill of Materials provided by Electrical Engineering to assemble production kits.
- Tasks include:
- Drilling electrical boxes
- Cutting strut and threaded rod
- Bending conduit
- Collecting hardware
- Tasks include:
- Deliver Preproduction Kits: Ensure timely delivery of assembled kits to job sites.
- Stock Management:
- Stock leftover electrical materials.
- Keep GPC-made electrical items in stock (bus bar kits, lugged ground wire, etc.)
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and assembly techniques
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required
