Team Lead
Shift: 1st, (6am-4pm)
Pay: $28-$34/hr (Based on Experience)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead to oversee our Pipe Bending Department on 1st shift. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong CNC tube bending experience who enjoys leading a team while remaining actively involved in production.
Job Description:
- Set and execute daily production plans, assigning personnel to meet scheduling demands
- Lead, coach, and cross-train team members using training matrices and headcount requirements
- Support and implement continuous improvement initiatives; maintain daily department metrics
- Program, set up, and operate CNC tube bending machines
- Review blueprints, job instructions, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with specifications
- Perform first-piece inspections and verify product quality throughout production
- Coordinate equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities
- Maintain 5S workplace standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and assist with incident investigations when necessary
- Perform material transactions and shop floor reporting using company software
