Stockroom Clerk
Shift: 1st, (7:00AM-3:30PM)
Pay: $20-$22/Hr. (Based on Experience)
We are seeking a dependable and detail oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining accurate inventory and a safe, organized warehouse environment.
Job Description:
- Verify quantities of incoming materials and cross reference items with packing lists.
- Review receiving and shipping documentation and identify shortages, damaged parts, or discrepancies.
- Stock materials in the proper warehouse locations and maintain an organized stockroom.
- Accurately complete material transactions and maintain inventory records.
- Pick materials from stock locations and prepare them for parcel shipments.
- Safely operate both sit down and stand up forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Package finished products for parcel shipment, including shrink-wrapping, adding protective foam, boxing, and labeling.
- Properly recycle and dispose of warehouse waste.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience is preferred.
- Ability to accurately count, identify, and organize materials.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
