Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist in internal and external audits by compiling necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with controls.
- Analyze financial data to identify variances, resolve discrepancies, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and ensure accurate data flow.
- Develop a working knowledge of the ERP system and understand how financial operations align with manufacturing workflows.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience (internships or entry-level experience acceptable).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data.
- Exceptional accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reconciliations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
