Senior Maintenance Technician
Shift: 2nd
Pay: $27/hr (Based on Experience)
Join a leading food manufacturing facility committed to quality, safety, and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Maintenance Technician to support our operations on 1st shift. If you have a strong mechanical background, food manufacturing experience, and a proactive work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Job Description:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of food manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues and implement effective repairs.
- Complete and document work orders in the CMMS system as assigned.
- Set up production equipment for changeovers (material, size, product, or pack pattern).
- Test equipment following maintenance or changeovers to ensure quality operation.
- Inspect parts for wear and damage; procure basic maintenance items as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production personnel.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards.
- 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food industry preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in at least one maintenance area (pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, etc.).
- Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment and production line setup/changeover.
