Shipping Operations Coordinator
Shift: 1st, (5am-1pm)
Pay: $22-$24/hr (Based on Experience)
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Operations Coordinator to join our 1st shift logistics team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate movement of materials, inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility while supporting daily shipping and receiving operations.
Job Description:
- Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Pull stock and perform detailed inventory counts
- Receive incoming inventory, raw materials, and non-inventory items
- Transfer inventory within the system and confirm receipts
- Put away inventory and route materials to the proper departments
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Operate under minimal supervision and assist in decision-making when the Logistics Lead is unavailable
- Create and maintain documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Support Shipping, Receiving, and Distribution Center operations as needed
- Assist with training and cross-functional logistics duties as directed by management
- Communicate operational issues effectively with the Distribution Manager
- Maintain quality control and follow all company safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in food manufacturing or warehouse operations
- Forklift operation experience
- Basic computer and inventory system knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
