Position: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 3 PM - 1 AM
Pay Rate: $16.00-$19.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

Summary:
As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital role in the distribution process by assisting in receiving, storing, pulling, and loading orders for distribution. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accurate inventory control and record-keeping.
As a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital role in the distribution process by assisting in receiving, storing, pulling, and loading orders for distribution. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accurate inventory control and record-keeping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shipping:
- Fulfill distribution orders with accuracy based on picking lists and/or other order documents.
- Drive truck to various locations to deliver materials, obtaining authorized signatures for supplies requested.
- Load and unload delivery truck by hand or with hand trucks.
Receiving:
- Verify accuracy of incoming products by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing with information on vendor invoices or packing slips.
- Inspect shipments for damage and defects, recording any discrepancies.
- Record information into the computer system to create accurate records.
Inventory/Preservation/Kitting-Assembly:
- Preserve finished products and package for inventory storage.
- Assist in kitting and/or assembly of component packages or assemblies.
- Move inventory manually or with mechanical equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
- Sort and store items according to established procedures.
- Maintain computerized inventory records and perform periodic physical counts.
- Requisition additional supplies to the purchasing department as needed.
