As Senior Accountant, you won’t just report on the business—you’ll shape it. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes.
- Develop and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial variances to aid executive decision-making.
- Examine and ensure accuracy of financial records in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a mentor to junior accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accounting practices align with production and business operations.
- Perform additional accounting tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing or construction industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and compliance.
