Job Description
Seal & Shelter Assembler
Join our innovative assembly team, where you’ll bring products to life! Your role includes reviewing schedules, performing gluing operations, and collaborating to apply covers. You’ll cut and transport materials, assemble shelters, and prepare items for shipment. Attention to detail is key as you ensure quality and safety in a dynamic environment. Be part of our exciting production process!
Shift: 1st, (6am-2:30pm)
Pay: $17.50-$18/hr. (Based on experience)
Job Description:
- Review production schedule and job card for assembly details.
- Perform gluing operations, including attaching foam pads and hardware.
- Transport completed boards and sewn covers to staging areas.
- Collaborate to apply covers to boards, stretching and nailing as needed.
- Cut aluminum pipe to size and transport to assembly area.
- Add pull-rope systems and prepare hardware kits.
- Assemble shelters, including trimming and securing wood parts.
- Consult prints for non-standard assembly sizes.
- Cut metal, drill holes, and attach components to frames.
- Prepare assemblies for shipment, including boxing and labeling.
- Record serial numbers and ensure proper packaging for shipping.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
