Job Description
6am to 2pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $20/hour
Essential Functions: • Review the master schedule for upcoming assigned product line requirements. Develop and adjust the schedule of production for assigned product lines to ensure on time customer delivery. Keep Management informed on production plans. • Review the availability of manufactured and purchased parts for the assigned product lines. Expedite manufactured or purchased parts are needed. • Acquire shop orders, purchase order due dates and manufactured parts build dates. Issue any required purchase orders in support of assigned product lines. • Act as a technical resource to purchasing, manufacturing, and other departments to coordinate efforts to address and resolve inquires and problems. • Follow up to ensure assigned product lines are completed according to customer and MRP requirements. Follow-up on back orders and shipments as required. • Follow new product lines for validation and production. • Attend and actively participate in all scheduled meetings. • Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards. • Back up to the Logistics Manager. Educational Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Additional education preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills: • Minimum five years of progressively responsible related experience. • Proficient in MRP systems and Microsoft Office. • Strong prioritization, planning, reporting and organizational skills. • Able to work with all levels of the organization. • Able to meet critical deadlines. |
