Quality Packaging Lead

Shift: 1st, (7am-3:30pm)

Pay: $22-$23/hr (Based on experience)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Packaging Lead to oversee first-shift packaging operations. This role ensures all finished products are packaged, sealed, labeled, and staged according to company quality and safety standards.

 Job Description:
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks for Packaging Associates to meet deadlines and production goals.
  • Coach and train new and existing team members on proper packaging procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.
  • Inspect products for accuracy in packaging and labeling prior to release for Quality Inspection and Shipping.
  • Identify and resolve production bottlenecks to maintain efficient packaging operations.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot packaging machinery including sealers, labelers, and palletizers; escalate major issues as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years in packaging or warehouse roles, including leadership experience.
  • Prior experience in a regulated environment (ISO 13485, FDA Part 820) preferred.
  • Proficient in reading work orders and quality specifications.
