Job Title: Quality Management Systems Specialist
Pay Rate: $25/hour (Based on Experience)
 Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday–Friday)
 Hours: 8-hour shifts with flexible start time between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (typical start at 7:30 AM)
 Assignment Type: Long-term contract with potential for temp-to-hire

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Quality Systems Engineer, the Quality Management Systems Specialist supports department managers and supervisors across multiple locations in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS). This role focuses on document control processes and ensures compliance with company standards and industry certifications, while supporting all corporate policies, procedures, and required documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the document control function, including creation, approval, revision, retrieval, and distribution of:
    • Manufacturing procedures
    • Quality procedures
    • Work instructions
    • Forms
  • Ensure all documentation complies with:
    • ISO9001
    • AS9100
    • IATF16949
    • Internal document control procedures
  • Maintain and administer the electronic Quality Management System (EQMS/ERP) and physical documentation as required
  • Provide administrative support for:
    • Customer audits
    • Internal quality audits
    • Certification audits
  • Assist teams with document preparation and control processes
  • Deliver training and guidance to employees on quality system documentation and document/data control
  • Support additional quality-related projects and other locations as needed
Qualifications
  • Associate degree preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, and/or AS9100 standards
  • Strong ability to follow multi-step processes and manage multiple tasks with high accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Windows-based systems
  • Valid driver’s license, adequate insurance, and acceptable driving record required
