Quality Inspector

Shift: 2nd, (Hours May Vary)

Pay: $17/hr. (Based on experience)

In this role, you'll inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. If you have manufacturing quality experience and enjoy problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you. 

Job Description:
  • Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, appearance, paint thickness, welding, and blast profile.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Complete inspection reports, damage reports, rework documentation, and other quality records.
  • Identify quality issues and route products for rework when necessary.
  • Assist in investigating quality concerns and determining root causes.
  • Communicate quality deviations to production and plant leadership.
  • Verify products are packaged correctly to prevent shipping damage.
  • Recommend improvements to quality, production, and safety processes.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Qualification: 
  • Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Manufacturing or product testing experience preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) certification is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret customer specifications.
  • Familiarity with ASTM standards is preferred.
  • Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, microscopes, and other measuring equipment.
