Quality Control Engineer/Inspector
Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Pay: $20-$32/hr. (Based on experience)
We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Engineer/Inspector to oversee and manage our quality department. In this role, you will ensure that parts are manufactured according to blueprint specifications and meet quality standards. You will be responsible for upholding and improving our quality processes, procedures, and systems. This position will require you to perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis, including data entry, operating quality equipment, conducting inspections, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will ensure that parts are manufactured according to blueprint specifications and meet quality standards. You will be responsible for upholding and improving our quality processes, procedures, and systems. This position will require you to perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis, including data entry, operating quality equipment, conducting inspections, and preparing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.
- Perform first article inspections and final inspections.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing parts for quality and compliance.
- Perform cleanliness lab inspections and production line inspections.
- Complete PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) reports.
- Operate and maintain quality control equipment, including gages.
- Ensure proper calibration of measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, marking them up as necessary.
- Enter and track quality data accurately.
- Uphold and improve quality processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous Quality Control experience is required.
- Proficient in using Excel, Word, and PDF applications efficiently.
- Ability to read and use a micrometer accurately.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
