Punch Press Operators
Shift: 1st, (6am-3:30pm)
Pay: $28.60/hr
Job Description:
- Setup and operate coil-fed punch presses of various sizes and tonnages in which a progressive or compound die is used to produce the metal part.
- Set and adjust die, knock-out, ejecting and safety devices, roll, dial or magazine feeds.
- Set stop gauges
- Properly setup and change dies in accordance with customer specifications
- Proper setup of material in accordance with customer specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with company procedures.
- Be alert to any malfunction of press or problem with die so production can be stopped prior to incurring substantial damage to the press or die
