Production Supervisor
Pay: $30/Hr.
Shift: 1st, Mon-Fri (7:00AM-3:30PM)
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead assembly-area manufacturing operations and help drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
Job Description:
- Direct and manage assembly-area manufacturing activities to achieve plant objectives and production goals.
- Oversee manufacturing of products to established specifications for quality, functionality, and lead time.
- Schedule daily work activities and maintain accurate production schedules.
- Establish and maintain performance expectations, metrics, and accountability for direct reports.
- Monitor productivity, labor efficiency, quality, and other internal performance metrics.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment.
- Ensure employees follow company safety procedures and receive required training.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Enforce General Manufacturing Practices and company procedures.
- Maintain high-quality standards while supporting excellent customer service.
- Foster a positive, motivational team environment and provide strong leadership.
- Work on assigned projects, including productivity improvements and development of training programs for new employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or business and/or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
- Strong supervisory experience in an engineered-product, low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical interest or experience.
- Demonstrated Lean manufacturing experience.
