Press Assistant
Shift: 2nd, (2pm-10pm)
Pay: $22.75/hr (Based on experience)
Are you mechanically inclined and ready to kick-start a career in printing? We are currently seeking a Press Assistant to join our 2nd shift Flexographic Printing team. This is a full-time, entry-level position with hands-on training and opportunities to grow into higher-level roles.
Job Duties:
- Load/unload film rolls and printing materials
- Mix and handle ink and solvents per job specs
- Maintain ink levels and viscosity during runs
- Clean printing components including plates, pans, rollers, and blades
- Assist in press setup, operation, and webbing the press
- Track and record materials used (ink, solvents, scrap, roll weights, etc.)
- Learn web path and eventually run the press during operator breaks
- Maintain a clean and organized press area
- Follow all plant safety and food safety guidelines
