Job Description:
Purpose & Duties:
- The Plant Supervisor is the first helper of the overall plant Superintendent.
- Responsible for providing leadership, scheduling machines, and be in constant communication with customer service and the machine operators.
- Keep updated logs of customer complaints, incoming/outgoing quality issues and plant safety.
- The plant Supervisor will help determine what is urgent and how to Schedule their tasks appropriately. Serving as the plant Supervisor,
- Responsible for signing out machines
- Serve as a member of the HACCP team, be HACCP trained and be able to implement our HACCP plan(s)/make changes to current plans, enforce SQF edition 8 on the manufacturing floor and follow/enforce all GMP’s.
- Will be direct report for all Plant employees.
Working Relationships:
- Internally, they will be under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager and in communication with all upper management, machine operators and sales.
- Externally, they will be responsible for sending credits, reviewing customer complaints, working with shipping about units on “hold” and third-party vendors.
