Packager
Shift: 3rd, (11pm-7am)
Pay: $18/hr.
Job Description:
Under the Direction of the shift team leader, the packager packages molded finished goods into the appropriate containers per the packaging for each individual part. This position will work in cooperation with the production, quality and maintenance departments.
- Leadership skills including sets required for this position
- Decision making and prioritization skills
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Previous maintenance supervisory experience
- Thorough knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Demonstrated team leading, problem solving and project management skills
- Thorough knowledge of molding machine PM requirements
- Ability to teach and mentor all maintenance team members
- Ability to work with all levels within the organization, as well as with customers and vendors
- Skills in problem solving and root cause analysis
- Ability to travel between facilities and to customer locations
- Injection molding manufacturing environment experience
- Prefer to have some lean and 5S experience
