Order Entry Specialist Wanted!
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $19.50/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced with SAP and customer service? We are currently seeking a qualified Order Entry Specialist to join a leading manufacturer of wet and dry chemical products. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity offering stability and room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter customer orders into the company’s SAP ERP system, meeting a daily goal of processing 20+ complex orders.
- Provide exceptional customer service across multiple channels: phone, email, and in-person.
- Respond to inquiries about order status, product availability, freight details, and payment information.
- Verify order accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate inter-departmental processes for shipping and billing.
- Serve as backup for front-desk receptionist duties, including managing invoicing paperwork.
- Stay current on inventory levels and product availability to provide accurate information to customers.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all order transactions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of consistent work history in order entry, customer service, or administrative support.
- Proficient in SAP Systems and SPS Commerce.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook.
- Prior experience in in-office customer service environments.
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
