3rd Shift Maintenance Technician Wanted– $29/hr!

Our client, a leader in the mail sorting and distribution industry, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their 3rd shift team.  This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career while working with state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced environment.

Position: Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)
Pay Rate: $29/hr
Shift: 3rd Shift(12am to 8am), with overtime available
Location: Brown Deer, WI

What You’ll Do:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for keeping production and facility equipment performing at its best. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing mechanical and electronic repairs on conveyor systems, printers, and sorting equipment.
  • Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance in line with vendor and quality standards.
  • Escalating major issues to the Lead Technician when necessary.
  • Reviewing and applying technical manuals and updates to stay current with equipment modifications.
  • Assisting and training other technicians to promote knowledge-sharing across the team.
  • Maintaining spare parts and supply inventory using PM schedules and work order systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail.
  • Taking on additional tasks to ensure smooth facility operations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, or industrial equipment troubleshooting.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical/electronic skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift hours.
