Machine Operator
Shift: 2nd, (12:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
Pay: $17.50 - $25/hr BOE + $1/hr Shift Premium for 2nd Shift
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. If you have a background in food manufacturing, high-speed packaging, and troubleshooting, this is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the smooth operation of our production lines. You will play a key role in ensuring that packaging equipment runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. If you have a background in food manufacturing, high-speed packaging, and troubleshooting, this is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the smooth operation of our production lines. You will play a key role in ensuring that packaging equipment runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and Monitor Packaging Equipment: Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging machines.
- Packaging and Product Inspection: Ensure product is packaged accurately in cartons and verify that packaging materials meet specifications. Perform quality checks on seal integrity, weight control, metal detection, X-ray monitoring, box and label print quality, cap torque, and induction seals.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, greasing, and replacement of parts such as pads or tape. Assist with equipment changeovers and ensure equipment is properly assembled and disassembled when necessary.
- Pre-Operation Tasks: Complete necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation.
- Troubleshooting: Make necessary adjustments and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
- Record Keeping: Document production data, machine performance, and quality control checks as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure production targets are met and that work areas remain clean and organized.
