Location: Cudahy, WI
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22 – $25 per hour (Based on experience)

Our client in Cudahy, WI is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Inventory Support Specialist to join their team on a 1st shift, temp-to-hire basis. This role plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production reporting, and ensuring smooth material flow through the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments including engineering, fabrication, and purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, track, and enter production data into Excel and the M2M ERP system
- Execute regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies in accordance with company guidelines
- Coordinate with the purchasing team for material availability and lead times
- Maintain data integrity within the ERP (M2M) system
- Collaborate with engineering to correct discrepancies with Bills of Material
- Lead and support special projects related to inventory control and production planning
- Track part quantities and locations in support of production supervisors and data teams
- Prepare and submit various production-related reports as required
- Work cross-functionally with departments including fabrication, engineering, and production to streamline inventory and improve flow
- Manually move parts as needed, using hand tools or forklift
- Support business or customer needs by working in other operational areas as assigned
- Follow all OSHA and workplace safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Prior experience working with ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of inventory systems
- Ability to read and interpret work orders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and meet tight production deadlines
- Physically able to walk, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Ability to operate a forklift
