Location: West Allis
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Great Opportunity for Recent College Graduates
A growing staffing firm is seeking an energetic and motivated Employment Recruiter to join its fast-paced team. The company specializes in temporary-to-hire and direct placement opportunities for skilled and professional candidates.
The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in staffing, recruiting, or human resources, along with strong communication and organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of combined education and/or experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR
- Bilingual preferred:
- English/Spanish, or
- English/Hmong
- Strong computer and internet search skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility
- Comfortable working 40–50 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit qualified candidates for client openings
- Conduct interviews and evaluate hiring decisions
- Coordinate start dates, employee relations, corrective actions, and separations
- Work with management to identify staffing needs
- Develop recruiting strategies and job profiles
- Review resumes and pre-screen candidates
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Communicate job details and company information to candidates
- Conduct reference and background checks
- Coordinate pre-employment testing and onboarding
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and candidate databases
- Extend and negotiate job offers
- Draft rejection letters and facilitate orientation
- Stay current on recruiting trends and sourcing strategies
