Job Description
Forging Operator 2
Shift: 1st & 2nd, (4:30am-3pm /9am-7pm)
Pay: $19-$21.25/hr. (Based on experience)
Join our growing team as a Forging Operator II and play a vital role in producing high-quality components in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. We are looking for experienced, driven individuals who are ready to contribute and grow within our company.
Job Description:
- Operate forging equipment and assist with setups per-standard operating procedures
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure product quality
- Handle materials, position inserts, and remove finished parts
- Complete work documentation and inventory tags accurately
- Perform equipment start-ups and contribute proactively to production flow
- Participate in cleanup, rework, and support tasks across shifts as needed
- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Operation monitoring and control
- Quality control awareness and active observation
- Ability to read work instructions and use basic math
- Critical thinking, proactive mindset, and strong communication skills
