Flexo Press Operator
Shift: 1st, (7am-3:30pm)
Pay: $24-$25/hr (Based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Flexo Press Operator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in manufacturing high-quality custom products for the medical and industrial industries. The ideal candidate will have strong flexographic printing experience, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
Job Description:
- Set up flexographic printing presses to ensure finished product meets customer specifications
- Read and interpret job specifications, drawings, and written instructions
- Mount plates and select appropriate anilox rollers
- Insert and set up rotary dies; perform rotary die cutting
- Splice roll materials and adjust speed, tension, and alignment for optimal print quality
- Perform in-process and final quality inspections to meet engineering and customer standards
- Remove finished and waste rolls from press
- Attach and operate finishing equipment as required
- Complete job documentation, inspection paperwork, and time/material tracking in Label Traxx
- Check availability of component parts before job setup
- Efficiently wash up press between jobs to minimize downtime
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and submit maintenance requests as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized 6S work area and follow all safety procedures
