Finisher / Builder – 2nd Shift

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Pay Rate: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking motivated Finishers/Builders to join our 2nd shift production team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to construct large steel and metal enclosures—essentially building a large metal “house.” This is a hands-on manufacturing and construction position in a growing, stable organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team to construct steel and metal enclosures
  • Install walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs
  • Mount louvers, doors, and various electrical components
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble and finish structures
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
  • Measure and verify accuracy using tape measures and other measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or installation issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Requirements (What It Takes to Be Successful)
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and hand/power tools
  • Ability to read measuring devices, including tape measures
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • High level of motivation and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Must pass a competency test and pre-employment physical, including a drug screen
