Equipment Technician
Shift: 1st, (6am-4:30Pm)
Pay: $35/hr (Based on Experience)
The Equipment Technician will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of diesel-operated vehicles and equipment, including trucks, lift trucks, and other heavy-duty machinery. The position involves approximately 90% diesel-related work and will require technical skill, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose issues with brakes, engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and more.
- Conduct safety inspections and complete maintenance logs and service records.
- Communicate repair needs and timelines to internal users of vehicles and equipment.
- Operate and maintain various hand tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct welding and metal fabrication as needed for repair and modification.
- Ensure all repairs are performed in compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years of technical training in auto/diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience working on diesel equipment is required.
- Ability to read technical manuals and use diagnostic tools.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile/tablet-based software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
