At SITE Staffing, Inc we take pride in helping people every day. We collaborate with various departments within the organization and partner directly with companies all throughout Southeastern WI to source, interview and qualify candidates for a variety of industrial positions.
Schedule & Location:
1st shift Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Part time schedule negotiable
This is a direct hire opportunity with our Milwaukee Team!
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will be ready to work in a fast paced but self-driven office environment. We specialize in temp to hire and direct placement of skilled trades/industrial/professional candidates. This candidate will need to have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced people-facing work environment and ideally have experience with interviewing.
Computer literacy is a must as is the ability to multi-task. Excellent communication skills required for in person, phone and email interactions. Must be able to work unsupervised and maintain contact with various internal and external partners as needed. The person in this role will have reliable transportation, flexibility and be able to make decisions on his/her own after proper training. The ability to be self-driven to hit metric goals, work independently and collaborate with internal stakeholders after completion of training is essential.
The Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Confer with management to identify recruiting needs
- Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies
- Pre-screen & interview candidates and independently determine whether or not to hire
- Review resumes and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates
- Manage communication with candidates throughout interview process
- Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives
- Manage applicant tracking system
- Maintain accurate and current applicant data base
- Discuss potential job offers with employees she/he has hired, set start dates, discuss raises, review corrective actions and separations as needed
- Assess assigned positions to develop job descriptions and job candidate profiles
- Review and clarify job specifications, competencies and skills required
- Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs
- Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with recruiters & hiring managers
- Facilitate pre-employment testing
- Extend offers of employment within company procedures
- Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends
