EDM Operator
Shift: 3rd, (11:30pm-7:30am)
Pay: $22-$27/Hr(Based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced EDM Operator to join our 3rd shift team. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with at least two years of Conventional EDM experience, particularly in tooling and production environments.
Job Description:
- Set up and operate state-of-the-art Conventional EDM machines
- Manufacture and redress electrodes using tool room equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and technical data
- Plan tooling requirements, setup procedures, machining parameters, and production sequences
- Determine and adjust machine settings to maximize machining efficiency
- Monitor machining processes and communicate job status to supervisors and team members
- Inspect and measure workpieces using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Record inspection data as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ Conventional EDM machining experience (tooling and production preferred)
- Strong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skills
- Experience selecting tooling and establishing machining parameters
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
