Job Description
Credit Services Underwriter
Shift: 1st, (8am-5pm)
Pay: $30-$35/hr (Based on experience)
As a Credit Services Underwriter, you'll analyze the creditworthiness of new applicants and assess the risk associated with extending credit. You will also work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless credit approval process, occasionally assisting with phone-in applications or support tasks.
Job Duties:
- Underwrite credit applications using internal guidelines and risk ratios
- Verify application information, review credit reports, and evaluate financial documentation
- Conduct due diligence on new dealer applications
- Assist the Dealer Concierge team as needed
- Maintain clear records and follow-up on pending files
- Support other office duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in finance, underwriting, or credit analysis
- Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
