Shift: 1st, (7am-2pm)
Pay: $15/hr
Are you passionate about food and ready to bring Latin-inspired flavors to life? We’re hiring a reliable, detail-oriented Cook to join our kitchen team!
Job Description:
- Prepare and cook base ingredients such as ground beef, red pepper sofrito, onion sofrito, and annatto oil
- Cut, boil, and season brisket for empanada filling
- Maintain fryer oil (change and pump every 10-12 days)
- Ensure accurate inventory and proper food storage
- Monitor stock levels to prevent ingredient shortages
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures in a gluten-free environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Entry-level food prep experience
- Bilingual customer service skills (Spanish/English preferred)
- Ability to work in a hot environment and manage time effectively
- Must have or obtain a valid food handling certification
- Resume required – onsite interview required
