Job Description
Converting Press Operator
Shift: 2nd, (3pm-1:30am)
Pay: $20-$25/hr (based on experience)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Converting Press Operator with experience running manufacturing equipment such as rewinders, slitters, or spoolers. This role operates a Delta press to produce high-quality medical and non-medical converted products in an FDA-regulated environment
Job Description:
- Operate Delta press using touchscreen controls
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and job tickets
- Set up rotary dies and finishing equipment
- Adjust speed, tension, alignment, gear ratios, and re-registration
- Splice roll materials and laminate multiple materials and adhesives
- Perform in-process inspections to meet strict quality standards
- Remove waste and finished rolls from press
- Complete job documentation and enter time/materials in system
- Maintain clean and organized press area
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and report additional needs
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
