Job Description
Cell Leader
Shift: 2nd, (3pm-11:30pm)
Pay: $18-$20/hr (based on experience)
We’re seeking a dependable and hands-on Cell Leader for our 2nd shift. This role ensures product quality by training operators, monitoring processes, reducing scrap, and performing quality inspections. Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably injection molding.
Job Description:
- Ensure process and product quality meets standards
- Monitor and report scrap levels
- Train and coach operators on procedures and quality requirements
- Perform lot audits and quality inspections
- Complete inventory transactions accurately and timely
- Operate forklift to move materials as needed
- Communicate effectively between shifts
- Complete end-of-shift and scrap reconciliation reports
- Maintain tools, supplies, and cleanliness of work areas
- Assist in developing work instructions and quality documents
- Support with operator breaks and lunches
