Salary: $24-26/hour
Hours: Monday- Friday 5/6am - 3:30/4:30pm (50 hour work weeks)
Position Overview:
Performs operation of complex machined components for many industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following essential functions are the critical duties an employee must be able to perform either unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation.
- From written set up instruction Operate machine tools and make offset adjustments to optimize part conformance to print
- Ability to do repetitive machining work
- Ability to read blueprints at a basic level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation
- Some assistance in set up of machine tools under the supervision of a machinist
- Has a basic understanding of applicable machining techniques and understanding of control functions
- May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Basic math skills
- Mentor or train Operator 1 team members on certain repetitive jobs
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Minimum & Preferred)
- High school diploma required; CNC Technical Diploma preferred
- 2+ years of machining experience
- Ability to use a computer
Physical and Mental Demands:
Intermittent (less than 15%), Occasional (15-45%), Frequent (50-75%), and Continuous (over 75%)

- Stand for up to 10 hours
- Frequent repetitive bending and twisting
- Occasionally required to walk, use foot/feet to operate machine, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders and move from place to place.
- The incumbent will continuously stand for up to 10 hours.
- The employee will intermittently sit, talk and listen frequently, and will frequently use hands to finger, handle or touch.
- Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and will frequently lift up to 30 pounds such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area.
Working Environment:
The employee works in a factory environment and is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. He/she is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is loud.
