Job Description
Salary: $28.79-34.12/hour + OT (includes shift premium)
Hours: Monday - Friday 3pm - 1am OR 4:30pm -3:30am (50 hour work weeks)
Position Overview:
Performs set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components for many different industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following essential functions are the critical duties an employee must be able to perform either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to set up all repeat jobs that are fully documented
- Run the first piece to print specification
- Knowledge of programming and may have ability to make edits or program.
- Manually inspect the part to the inspection sheet criteria
- Ability to read blueprints to a medium/high level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation
- Working knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
- May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
- Advanced shop math with trigonometry and geometry
- Mentor and train operators
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Minimum & Preferred)
- High School diploma/ CNC technical diploma preferred
- 5+ years of experience in CNC Machining
- Must be familiar with GD&T
- Knowledgeable of G&M Code Programming Edits
- Experience with set-ups
- Ability to use a computer
Physical and Mental Demands:
Intermittent (less than 15%), Occasional (15-45%), Frequent (50-75%), and Continuous (over 75%).
The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Frequent repetitive bending and twisting
- Occasionally required to walk, use foot/feet to operate machine, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders and move from place to place.
- The incumbent will continuously stand for up to 10 hours.
- The employee will intermittently sit, talk and listen frequently, and will frequently use hands to finger, handle or touch.
- Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and will frequently lift up to 30 pounds such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area.
Working Environment:
The employee works in a factory environment and is occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. He/she is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is loud.
