Job Description
CNC Laser & Turret Programmer
Hours: 6am - 3 :30pm + OT when needed
Salary: $24-35/hour
We are looking for a Cutting Department Nester on 1st shift to work as a turret nester and programmer.
- Responsibilities will include creating laser cutting programs for the Amada Apelio, EMLK, and ACIES machines using Dr. Abe Blank software.
- Primary responsibility includes creating nests for our (3) Amada EMLK laser/turret systems and the Amada ACIES Fiber Laser/Turret System .
- Experience using Amada Dr. Abe Blank and/or 3i or any sheet metal laser/turret nesting software (Sigma Nest, Jetcam, etc.)
- Experience setting up and running Co2 or Fiber lasers or Turrets
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and CNC Setup Reduction
- Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers, Virtek laser scanning machines, pin gauges, etc.
- Strong Microsoft Outlook and Word computer skills preferred
- Able to be available off hours to address any nest issues
