Job Description
Grinder Machine Operator
Shift: 2nd, 12:30pm-8:30pm
Pay: $18-$19/hr +$1/hr Shift Premium
Our client is looking for a Bulk Packaging Grinder Operator for our 2nd shift. This role involves operating grinding equipment and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the packaging process. Candidates with a background in machine operations and the food industry are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and manage all grinding operations and equipment according to proper procedures.
- Verify correct items and lot numbers during operations.
- Set up, troubleshoot, operate, disassemble, and clean equipment.
- Complete all scheduled work to meet production requirements.
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Assist in packaging medium-sized bags and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
- Maintain documentation of weights and measurements and ensure adherence to quality control guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior machine operation experience preferred.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate weighing and measuring of products.
- Barcoding experience is a plus.
