Milwaukee Manufacturing company is currently hiring for a Bilingual Lead Quality Control Technician on 1st shift! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has dealt with dispositioning hold material that was questionable or risk assessment.  Peak season fall through winter offer OT opportunities but the position remains full time through Spring and Summer months.

1st shift, 7am-3pm but current OT includes 10+ hour days as it is peak season until Spring
$23/hr 

Job Description:
SUMMARY 
Lead Quality control technician performs visual inspections on in-process materials and review final products to ensure quality specifications are met. The technician also records data from product inspections, and performs statistical analysis of that data using computer software programs. Quality technicians will work closely with production staff to ensure quality product standards are achieved. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Perform day-to-day quality control testing and inspections on manufactured products. 
  • Perform % Moisture analysis on incoming raw materials. 
  • Assist in calibrations of manufacturing equipment and measuring equipment. 
  • Enter inspection data into computer software programs for further statistical analysis. 
  • Complete dye blends as needed to support production operation and ensure product consistency. 
  • Analyze quality control results for trends and potential production issues. 
  • Inspect raw materials/components prior to packaging to ensure all components are correct. 
  • Receive, document and investigate customer complaints and non-conformances. 
  • Complete Document Control with writing and reviewing standard operating procedures for manufacturing and quality control functions. Route change orders for updates with review by Corporate Quality. 
  • Record and create training materials for changes to procedures and annual refreshers. 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Assist with product development and other duties as assigned. 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Interacts with all levels of employees; management, some outside vendors. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 
Education and/or Experience: Previous experience in QC/QA is preferred. 

Language Skills: 
Bilingual ability to communicate in Spanish is a must. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and materials management documents. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond.
