AutoTool Technician – 1st Shift
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour + Perfect Attendance Bonus ($1/hr paid weekly)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm, with overtime available

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined AutoTool Technician to join our team on 1st shift at our client in Milwaukee. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, testing, and setting up Autotools, while ensuring timely inventory transactions and order shipments. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on technical environment with growth potential.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined AutoTool Technician to join our team on 1st shift at our client in Milwaukee. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, testing, and setting up Autotools, while ensuring timely inventory transactions and order shipments. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a hands-on technical environment with growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and test returned Autotools to ensure top-level customer service.
- Set up and test new Autotools for delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all systems.
- Provide technical support for Engineering, Sales, Specialists, and ATS personnel.
- Complete all daily shipping and receiving for Autotools accurately and on schedule.
- Follow corporate EHS policies and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any concerns to management/purchasing.
- Assist with department initiatives, improvements, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training in mechanical or electrical technology preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience as a technician working with hand tools.
- Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn company software systems.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and adequate insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
- Overtime availability as needed.
