Seal & Shelter Assembler
Shift: 2nd, (4pm-12:30am)
Pay: $18/hr (Based on Experience)
A leading manufacturer is seeking motivated Seal & Shelter Assemblers for 2nd shift. This is a hands-on production role responsible for assembling, crating, and preparing rigid and padded seal and shelter products for shipment.
Job Description:
- Perform gluing, foam assembly, and covering operations
- Stretch, nail, and attach covers, foam, and hardware to boards
- Cut and measure aluminum pipe using chop saws
- Assemble shelters, frames, and hood systems using prints/drawings
- Drill holes, attach metal components, apply fiberglass, and install hardware
- Prepare and package products for shipment, including labeling and documentation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- 6–12 months of assembly experience preferred (seal & shelter experience a plus)
- Ability to read and understand drawings and written instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools such as:
- Impact wrench
- Pneumatic nailer
- Rivet guns
- Air shears
- Chop and radial saws
- Tape measure, hammer, pliers
