Job Description
SITE Staffing is recruiting for an Applications Engineer for a client in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design custom applications and support customer troubleshooting
- Assist with sales costing, quoting, and project proposals
- Manage multiple projects: requisition parts, create documentation and manuals
- Generate CAD drawings (AutoCAD) for piping and equipment systems
- Apply knowledge of process piping, pipe materials, and fabrication practices
- Provide support for reverse osmosis system design (a plus)
- Assist in sales quote preparation
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) from engineering drawings
- Balance design tasks, sales support, and project timelines
- Plan, budget, and coordinate projects
- Offer remote (phone/video) support for installations, start-ups, and system troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Associate’s degree + industry experience also considered
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project software (a plus)
- Experience with 2D AutoCAD LT/2016, AutoCAD 3D, or SolidWorks (preferred)
