Job Description
Hours: 1pm to 9pm Monday through Friday
Pay: $17/hour
- Load raw material into the machine and in ERP system and create labels.
- Maintain the level of zinc raw material at the machines and skim dross from melting pots.
- Remove parts from machines and transport to designated areas.
- Palletize parts.
- Monitor bins for wear and tear and assure proper disposal when necessary.
- Maintain the areas around the machines in a neat and orderly fashion following 5S.
- Perform handwork and sorting as required.
- Perform preventative maintenance to machines, including maintain fluids in spraying devices, etc.
- Restart machines and restart/rehome robots.
- Develop visual familiarity with parts, perform visual inspections, and maintain inspection records.
- Operate band cutters and shredder as needed.
- Notify setup technicians of machine irregularities, die malfunction, or obvious quality concerns
