Job Description
2nd Shift: 2pm to 10pm Monday through Friday
$15.30/hour
- Receive general instructions verbally or written from supervisor and/or lead man
- Read blue prints or standard operating procedures
- Operate table saw, radial arm saw, band saw, panel saw, air-powered cut off saw, skill saw and jig saw.
- Cut lumber to meet specifications from cut list, blue print or standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a work area in a clean and orderly fashion and conform to all quality and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Basic shop math, to include adding, subtracting, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions
- Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
- Ability to read and translate measuring instruments and shop drawings
